This foray into the music blog ghetto was inspired by my grandparents, Percy and Eunice. They had an Econoline camper van with a wheel cover on the back emblazoned with "Sunday Mornin', Comin' Down", in homage to Johnny Cash. They wore matching black leather outfits, drove that van to Reno to gamble every chance they got, and hung out with C-grade celebs like Bobby Goldsboro and country singer Judy Lynn. They were libertines of a distinctly American variety. They were badasses, in other words, and this blog is our little shrine to them, and the music and culture of their era.
